Played Golf today at Penina, near Portimao, Algarve, Portugal. Very hot. This is the place where the Beatles stayed for a few days in 1968. Paul McCartney wrote a song called Penina and gave it away to Jotta Herre, the house band. It was also recorded by Carlos Mendes. They had a bit of a hit with it, you can find it on Youtube. Stork on the Waterfront. Strutting his stuff on the waterfront at Portimao, Algarve, Portugal. Just swooped down right in front of us, from his nest high up on the top of an old brick chimney. Marvellous, truly a, Stork on the Waterfront. Storks are protected and there were other nests around, the most bizarre one on the top of a mobile crane!

Its 20th September 2017 8 am and the sun is just rising. If you look closely you can see a cruise ship on its way into Portimao harbour, Algarve, Portugal.

After shopping in Portimao, we stopped in Alvor for sardines, with a glass of red wine. We noticed a lady (Maybe Madonna) with blonde hair, shades and shoes. She carried a bag and a designer pooch. She glanced in the restaurant, and sat at the next table. Placing the dog in the bag she zipped it up, strange I thought. She then ordered a large beer. Even more strange. The waiter brought a basket of bread and a bowl of olives. Was this cover. She placed olives on a plate, cut them up and splashed olive oil over them and proceeded to eat. Next?
