SEVILLE

Cathedral 1Back from a weekend in the wonderful historic city of Seville, capital of Andalusia, Spain. The drive is only three hours from Lagos in the Portuguese Algarve. Stayed at the superb Hotel Bécquer, right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of most of the famous sights. Situated on the river Guadalquivir the architecture is absolutely stunning. So much to see including: the Cathedral, Real Alcazar (palace), Plaza de Espana, Santa Cruz (old Jewish quarter). Loads of fantastic tapas bars and restaurants, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Enjoyed a flamenco show with Tapas. Will definitely visit again.
