Hard Hat

A tale of two cities or Roofs?Marlborough, Wiltshire and Macclesfield, Cheshire, both UK. Last Friday we visited family near Marlborough. Their roof caved in three months ago and they still have no functioning kitchen awaiting insurance / building repairs. Does lightning strike twice? In the morning I received a call from my son in Macclesfield that the roof of his flat was falling in. and he had been evicted. What to do? We hightailed it back to Cheshire. Son on doorstep carrying a stick with a knotted hankie containing a few possessions. After staying overnight with us, the landlord said he would pay subsistence for B&B whilst they found out what was going on. Monday good result. They rehoused son in another flat close by and loaned out hard hats to move some stuff out while they complete repairs. Hence the pic. Bob the Builder Hey!
